Celebrating Recovery in Skye and Lochalsh

We are thrilled to share the joy and inspiration from our recent time on the beautiful Isle of Skye and in the Kyle of Lochalsh. This special visit brought together our North Skye team, the newly launched South Skye and Lochalsh team, colleagues from our HQ, the well-established Stoke-on-Trent team, and our valued partners at the Big Green Heart.

Together, we hosted a vibrant Recovery Celebration with the local recovery community—an uplifting event filled with hope, love, and joy. It was a powerful time of encouragement, envisioning, and commissioning, as we stood together in unity and purpose.

The visit also included opportunities for fellowship, training, and Big Green Heart workshops, deepening our shared commitment to recovery and community transformation. The passion, connection, and mutual support experienced during our time on Skye and Lochalsh will continue to inspire and fuel our work across all our teams.

And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a bit of cultural exchange—when “Och aye!” met “Aye up!”, we knew something special was happening! In the coming together of our communities, we were reminded that even though we’re based in different places, we are united by a shared mission—part of one team, one body, and something far greater than the sum of our individual centres.
