    The KEYS Recovery Programme

    There are three elements or “keys” to our programme.

    Community

    Community Support is the vital first ‘KEY’ to the programme. Being a part of a loving community is a significant benefit to anyone seriously wanting to make the lifestyle changes necessary for long-term freedom from drugs and alcohol. Anonymous recovery groups are also an important part of our community support.

    Spiritual

    Our recovery programme is primarily aimed at helping those who are already on, or who are open to a spiritual route to recovery. Clients are supported through a Christian recovery programme that uses the 12-steps adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to address issues that are very often at the root of addiction.

    Medical Advocacy

    As and when appropriate, we will support our clients through medical advocacy with their own GP and/or prescribing services in relation to their recovery. In this way, we have helped many to achieve abstinence in a safe and controlled way.

    KEYS saved my life. If it wasn’t for this programme, I wouldn’t be married now, living in the community, I wouldn’t have a job. Everything I’ve got today is thanks to KEYS.
