Made for More
Made for More: Gathering in Lochalsh
In March, Laura was joined by Simon from our Stoke team and Anne from KEYS National to spend a special weekend at Made for More, the annual event hosted by our partners at Living Hope Skye and Lochalsh.
It was a powerful time of fellowship, prayer, and shared stories, as people gathered to celebrate freedom and hope in recovery. The weekend was filled with worship and honest, moving testimony from individuals who have experienced freedom from addiction - moments that reminded us all why this work matters so deeply.
What made the weekend particularly special was the sense of community. Friends and partners travelled from far and wide to be there, from as far as the USA to local friends from across Scotland, all coming together with the Skye community to stand alongside one another. The warmth, openness, and generosity of spirit throughout the weekend were a real reflection of the Living Hope community and their heart for welcoming others.
Spending time together was not only encouraging but deeply affirming. It strengthened relationships, deepened partnerships, and reminded us of the shared vision that unites us — seeing lives restored and people reminded that they are truly made for more.
