Big Give Fundraiser Exceeds £10,000 Target: A Celebration of Recovery and Hope

Brighton, December 7, 2024 – The KEYS Project's Big Give charity fundraiser has triumphantly surpassed its £10,000 target, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to support individuals on their journey to freedom from addiction. This remarkable achievement was celebrated with a heartfelt event held in Brighton and broadcast via Zoom, bringing together a community of supporters, survivors, and advocates.

The celebration was a testament to the power of resilience and community. Attendees shared their personal stories of recovery, highlighting the transformative impact of the support they received. These powerful narratives underscored the importance of our collective efforts in fostering hope and healing.

This year’s event was particularly special as we commemorated a decade of helping individuals find freedom from addiction. Over the past ten years, KEYS has been a beacon of hope, providing essential resources and support to those in need. The evening was filled with gratitude and reflection, celebrating the lives changed and the progress made.

We were honoured to have Joshua Luke Smith join us for the celebration. His inspiring songs and spoken word performances added a profound and moving dimension to the event, resonating deeply with all who attended. His artistry and message of hope perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the evening.

We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s Big Give fundraiser. Your generosity and support have made a tangible difference in the lives of many. Special thanks go to those who ran their own "10 for 10" fundraising activities, our partner churches, and all the individuals who donated. We are also immensely grateful to St Matthias Church in Brighton for generously hosting us. Your collective efforts have been instrumental in our success.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of supporting recovery and fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for helping us make a lasting impact.

Thanks to KEYS my life has drastically improved. I was dying in all ways – physically, mentally and spiritually. Now I am alive and I am saved. I have never known what is like to have someone believe in me.
